David Lobser is a digital artist based in Brooklyn NY. He is interested in the tensions between simulation and reality and the increasingly blurry boundaries between the two.
Louise Foo and Martha Skou are Danish-born artists based between Copenhagen and New York City. Their careers span the worlds of music, visual art, and design. In their collaborative practice, they share the urge to explore and better understand the physics and systems of sound. Working with installations, visual design, and experimental software, they communicate the magic they find in their research through the creation of experiences. Foo/Skou have previously participated together in residencies at Pioneer Works Center for Art + Innovation and the New York Art Residency and Studios (NARS) Foundation. Foo/Skou are currently showing work at 'Sonic Arcade - Shaping Space with Sound' at Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York and have previously shown at venues such as REVERSE Space, Creative Tech Week Expo, and Telfair Museums’ PULSE Art + Technology Festival. Skou just ended a year long residency at The Textile Arts Center in New York while Foo was a member of the 2017 cohort of New Museum's creative incubator 'New Inc.'
Sandy Davis is a Brooklyn-based songwriter, musician, and producer who can currently be found performing in her band Pecas. She was born in Madrid, where "pecas" means freckles. Davis moved to upstate New York in her youth and eventually settled in New Paltz. She established herself in the college town’s blossoming indie rock scene, forming and joining many bands, including a stint in the Bar/None Records psychedelic pop group Breakfast In Fur, before branching off to create solo work.
Thinkcraft is an experience design studio. They champion human centered design to create engaging and interactive experiences across physical spaces. From hospitality and retail - to arts and culture, they are trusted partners to clients looking to enrich the relationship with their audience.They have helped develop brand voices, curated events, service models, and environmental blueprints for the likes of the MoMA, AMNH, the Met, Frank Gehry’s Foundation Louis Vuitton, and brands like Facebook, Sonos, Uber and Verizon. Drawing from architecture, sociology and the arts, their work is grounded in empathy, sense and behaviour and believe in the power of spaces that people want to come back to.
